If you are using a Samsung device and experiencing link loss with your eButton, you may need to download and follow these steps.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – iPhone users. On 3 January 2017 there was a major technical issue with the service we use for Push Notifications. As a result, eButton Requests for Assistance could not be sent from iPhones. This DID NOT apply to Android devices. However, Android users acting as a ‘Help Contact’ for an iPhone user were also effected.
Update 12 January 2017 – Major revisions to the eButton app for both iPhone and Android devices have been completed to address the issue outlined above. Updates are now available for both iPhone (version 1.2.7) and Android devices (version 1.5.1) which resolve the issue. All ‘Help Contacts’ of iPhone Users updating to version 1.2.7 will receive renewed requests to be a ‘Help Contact’ and must follow the normal procedure to accept the request.
